Known as a Buck Anchor, this anchor has the corrugated ends to lay in a mortar joint for a little extra grab.  Typically made out of Stainless Steel or Galvanized, the end of this anchor has around 2 – 3 inches that are corrugated.  The vertical leg of this anchor has a horizontal slot to allow for a little adjustability to the left and right. Most stone masons enjoy the slot in the vertical legs because it gives them that tiny adjustability that makes their life a bit easier at times!
